Admittedly: it’s no easy task, but it’s worth it!</P> <P>The essence of HEICO SPORTIV ECU power upgrade lies in a complex reprogramming of the electronic engine management system or installation of the supplementary engine control unit e.motion - individually for each and every engine - and transmission combination. To this end, all performance-relevant parameters are tweaked on the basis of the original ignition map and afterwards proven on our in-house roller dynamometer. Our mission is to optimize the interplay between the turbo charging air pressure, fuel injection duration and timing (ignition timing for gasoline-operated engines) without exceeding the technically specified loading limits of the engine, transmission, drive train or – in the case of diesel engines – soot filter.
