HEICO SPORTIV marked a number of firsts at the 40th ADAC 24 Hour Race at the Nürburgring: the first-time use of a diesel engine, the comeback of “Green Racing” with bio-diesel and, regrettably, also the first breakdown at a 24 Hour Race after seven consecutive finishes.
HEICO SPORTIV excels at the Nürburgring 6 Hour Race finishing in 28th position overall and outclassing around 170 competitors. In class SP4T, Ulli Andree and Martin Müller scooped second place behind the factory car Audi TT RS.
HEICO SPORTIV finished the “53rd ADAC ACAS H&R-Cup” at the Nürburgring’s Nordschleife in second place. After having driven for 4:08:51 hours, the driver duo consisting of Patrick Brenndörfer and Martin Müller only had to admit defeat to the factory-supported Audi TT RS of Frank Biela, Andrea Piccini and Jens Klingmann.
Following their success at the 24 Hour Race, Patrick Brenndörfer (Frankfurt), Frank Eickholt (Bottrop) and Martin Müller (Griesheim) have notched up yet another class victory, this time at the 6 Hour ADAC Ruhr-Pokal race at the Nürburgring. After 2007 and 2009, this is HEICO SPORTIV’s third success at the 6 Hour Race.
